The 2022 Flu vaccine is available from 1 April. Almost everyone can benefit from an annual influenza vaccination. It is especially important for people at risk of serious complications from influenza including:

• pregnant women (any trimester)
• people with ongoing medical conditions such as asthma, diabetes, or a heart or lung condition
• people aged 65 years and over
• Maori and Pacific people aged 55 years and over

The vaccine is FREE for people who are most at risk. The vaccine costs $38 for those not eligible.

Please be aware you cannot attend for a flu vaccine unless you have arranged an appointment date and time with reception on 04 801 5228.

You can book online into a dedicated Flu vaccine clinic – these will be running on a Wednesday and Thursday.

Please ensure you are well before you attend our flu clinic. If you have ANY symptoms of respiratory illness or have had contact with a positive covid-19 case, DO NOT ATTEND. Please call reception for further advice.
